Cham Island is a group of islands located 18 km from the coast of Cua Dai beach, Hoi An which is recognized by UNESCPO as a world biosphere reserve. Cham Island consists of 8 different islands: Hon Lao, Hon Dai, Hon Mo, Hon Khoi, Hon Kho con, Hon La, Hon Tai, Hon Ong. There are approximately 3,000 people living in these islands.
Cham Island is a historical and cultural relic associated with the formation and development of the Hoi An commercial town. After years of historical processes, Cham Island had its name “Champello”, Pulau Champa”. Cham Island had aslo had many other different names such as Puliciam, Chiem Bat Lao, Tien Bich La. In Cham Island, there are still many other monuments belonging to the cultures of Sa Huynh , Champa and Dai Viet with ancient architectural works of the Cham and Vietnamese dating from several hundred years to thousands of years.
This is also a tourist destination with cool climate for the whole year, rich of flora and fauna and especially with seafood and bird’s nest resources. The coral reefs in Cham Island is also highly appreciated and included in the protection list. In October 2003 Cham Island Nature Reserve was established to preserve wildlife on the island, one of Vietnam’s 15 Marine Protected Areas in 2007.
On May 5th, 2009 with its rich flora and fauna and historic sites hundreds of years ago, Cham Island was recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve in the 21st session of the Man and the Biosphere Programme International Co-ordinating Council (MAB-ICC) taking place on Jeju Island (South Korea).
7:50 am: Depart to Cham Island on the most beautiful beach of Da Nang wich is known as a 5 star route because on the route is the location of many hotels and resorts of Da Nang and Hoi An.
8:25 am: You will be presented at Cua Dai port, your guide from Hoi An Little Tour will do the check in procedure before you enter high speed boat to go to Cham Island.
8:45 am: You get in the Cano and experience the strong felling with high speed boat which will take around 20 minutes on sea to go the the island.
9:10 am: Arrive to Bai Lang port the largest beach of Hon Lao, the only island where people live on Cham Island.
- You will visit famous destinations on the islands such as Hai Tang Pagoda, Ancient Will of Champa, Marine Protected Area, Ca Ong Temple, Tan Hiep Market…
10:50 am: You will leave the Bai Lang beach to move to Bai Ong an eco beach of Hon Lao. It’s time for tourists to change clothes to swim, dive to see the coral.
12:10 pm: Have lunch at Bai Ong, free time for relax and photos
14:00 pm: Get on the speed boat and leave Cham Island back to Hoi An town.
15:30 pm: Take guests back to their hotel. Finish Tour.

7:30 am: Car and guide from Hoi An Little Tour will pick you up at your hotel
